Little House, Frogner, Oslo

Complete internal rehabilitation.

This project creates a compact home in the backyard of an apartment building on Ths. Heftyes gate, Frogner. The design connects an existing apartment with the loft on the second floor, previously used by the building’s caretaker.

The concept focuses on essential space only: functional, minimal, and without excess. Interior surfaces are clad in plywood panels with simple white tiles in the bathroom. A new steel frame supports the original timber structure, allowing more light and giving the small studio a modern, open feel.
