A full-service architectural studio.
Est. 2001
The studio offers full-service architectural solutions and works on projects ranging from renovations to new buildings, interior design, and public service spaces.
Anne Margrethe Petersen specialises in restoring and transforming historic buildings. Restoration requires a careful balance between respecting heritage and adding originality. Any successful restoration project must feel like a natural continuation of the building’s history, while still being contemporary.
Anne keeps a close dialogue with residents and owners and uses this knowledge to help find the perfect balance between a functional and beautiful space.
Educated and inspired by professors and architects Sverre Fehn and Neven Fuchs Mikac, the studio continues to experiment and explore new ways of working with architecture with an open mind and a conscious consideration of environmental regulations and values.
The architect has experience ranging from residential projects to large complex buildings such as museums, educational buildings, hospitals, public and retail spaces.
During seven years as Managing Director of Boffi Oslo, Anne has added knowledge and interest in the use of materials, technical detailing and interior design.
Anne Margrethe Petersen has worked internationally in Norway, the US, and the Pacific, with a wide range of clients, including the HKM Royal Crown Prince of Norway, Paul Savoy of AHA, and the villa of Stargate Music manager Hermansen.
