_project:
Bygdøy Allé 47, Gimle, Oslo
Renovation apartment.
The project focuses on carefully modernising the apartment while preserving the original architectural character of the building. Minor architectural interventions were introduced to subtly improve the layout while maintaining the historic atmosphere.
The apartment is located in a Jugendstil building from 1910, designed by Syver Nielsen, known for works associated with the “Frognerjugend” style found in parts of the Frogner district of Oslo.
Characteristic Jugendstil details are visible already in the entrance and staircase of the building.
